The General clenched his fist as he contained his fury, looking down at the woman’s body with disdain. Foolish woman he thought as she laid spread out over the floor, blood over her lab coat and top from the gunshot wound to the torso. Her glasses lay smashed beside her, her eyes staring back at him blankly. He turned away from her and left her to rot in this dark corridor she chose to throw everything away in, his men flanking him with flashlights.
